USA COM Residency Fair

On behalf of the University of South Alabama College of Medicine chapter of the American Medical Women's Association and the Family Medicine Interest Group, you are cordially invited to the Third Annual University of South Alabama College of Medicine Residency Fair. The event will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009, from 6:30pm until 8:30, on the USA campus. If you attended last year, we hope you will return; if not, we welcome new groups as we expand on last year's already successful event.

The cost of participation is $200. The sponsoring student organizations are very active, both within the university and in the community. Funds raised through this event will support activities including National Primary Care Week, guest speakers from various specialties and other interests (e.g., government, charity, research), and monthly seminars on women's health issues.

If your residency program would like to participate, please click here to register. Our space is limited to 50 programs, and tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline to register is Thursday, October 8, 2009. Each registrant receives a 6 foot table, with access to electricity. Refreshments will be served.

The University of South Alabama is located in beautiful Mobile, Alabama. The College of Medicine, founded in 1973, has a current enrollment of nearly 300 students. USA COM hosts a residency fair each year, which is open to students from all four years. This event--which is student-organized--is designed to help the students at USA COM make informed decisions about their future. We welcome participants from any specialty, and from any hospital.
